We regret to inform you that the Regional Public Administration had to close the Montichiari Velodrome a few days ago, officially because of some missing administrative documents regarding the homologation of the fire safety system.
Yesterday, a meeting was held with the Italian Cycling Federation, the local organiser, Montichiari’s mayor, the Italian Olympic Committee and the “Provincial Security Commission” and it has been stressed that even if all administrative issues are solved no activities will be able to take place before having replaced the complete velodrome roof.
Therefore, despite the efforts of the Italian Cycling Federation, who we would like to thank, regretfully we are obliged to cancel our event.
